 \nThis Birds of a Feather is for attendees interested in virtual productio
 n for live action and animation projects. Virtual Production is a relative
 ly new term that covers a range of processes used in media production that
  leverage real-time audiovisual and lighting technology (e.g. game engines
 , virtual reality hardware, and video projectors) to create immersive envi
 ronments on-set for cast and crew.\n\nVirtual Production returns us to a
  time where all the creative decision makers are in the same room at the s
 ame time, making the final product together. Everyone can walk away from t
 he set saying "That completed scene is great", rather than everyone walkin
 g away from set saying "I wonder what that is going to look like in 6 mont
 hs". Using virtual production as a collaborative creative sandbox helps de
 partments work together.\n\nThe format of this BOF will be speed talks fro
 m local and international practitioners followed by a facilitated roundtab
 le to allow the community to discuss pertinent issues.\n\nRegistration Cat
