Mitsunori Miki received his MS, and PhD degrees in engineering from Osaka City University, Osaka, Japan, in 1974 and 1978, respectively. In April 1981, he joined Kanazawa Institute of Technology as Associate Professor of Faculty of Engineering. In April 1994, he joined Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Information and Computer Science. His research interests include parallel computing, office environment, lighting control. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Institute of Aeronautical and Space Sciences(AIAA), the Japanese Society for the Information Processing (IPSJ).
