Florian Perteneder is an HCI researcher currently investigating innovative ways of learning sports as a postdoc at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
In 2018, he received a doctoral degree from the Johannes Kepler University Linz after receiving a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Florian was a visiting researcher at the University of Calgary and the University of Canterbury in 2011 and 2009, respectively. He published and showcased several award-winning works at international conferences (e.g. CHI, UIST, TEI, SIGGRAPH Emerging Technologies) in the domain of large interactive whiteboards and interactive environments.
