This panel brings together experts from industry and academia to discuss the challenges facing education today due to rapidly evolving technologies. How do we produce work ready graduates in a world where immersive and interactive technologies are constantly changing industry practices?
Visualisation, simulation, and immersive environments are increasingly driving a transition from historical working models towards more agile and adaptable practices. Industry needs bespoke and flexible training strategies to ensure they are future ready and capable of meeting the growing demand for, and convergence of, immersive practices.
Industry and UNSW academic panellists will highlight examples of effective uses of the latest interactive and immersive media in training, discuss the implications for future education and upskilling of our current and future workforce, explore the advantages of a human-centric design approach, and consider the development of new models for education to meet these demands. As a member of the audience, you will also have the opportunity to share your experiences and offer ideas for your ideal vision of education 4.0.
